Darjeeling

Day 01: Arrive Kalimpong

Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport/ New Jalpaiguri railway station, transfer to Kalimpong (75 kms / 3 hrs). Transfer to hotel and rest of the evening at leisure, overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Kalimpong – Gangtok (78 Kms / 2-3 Hours)

This morning proceed on a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong.. Afternoon you will be transferred to Kalimpong by road (78 kms / 2-3 hrs). Proceed to your hotel . Rest of the evening is at leisure, overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Gangtok

This morning enjoy a city sightseeing tour of Gangtok. After lunch proceed on an excursion to visit the Rumtek monastery, the oldest Tibetan monastery in Sikkim, overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Gangtok – Darjeeling (98 Kms / 3-4 Hours)

Morning transfer to Darjeeling (98 kms 3-4 hrs). Proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the local markets on your own, overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Darjeeling

Early morning (0330 hrs) visit Tiger Hills to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchanjunga mountains. On the return visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia loop. This afternoon visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Himalayan Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. At the end of the tour visit the Tibetan Handicraft Center and drive past Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Depart Darjeeling (90 Kms / 2-3 Hours)

Transfer to Bagdogra airport/New Jalpaiguri railway station (90 kms /2-3 hrs).
